FAQ

The questions people ask before their first publish.

What the free plan carries, what the paid plan adds, and how a form and its answers are kept.

Free plan questions

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. Building a form, publishing its link and collecting responses are on the free plan, with no trial clock and no card.

How many responses can one form take?

Each form accepts a set number of responses in a calendar month, and the count starts again when the next month begins. The limit that applies to your form is shown on its own page.

How many forms can I publish?

Your account keeps a set number of forms published at the same time. Take one down and the place is free for another; the drafts stay where they are.

Paid plan questions

What does the paid plan add?

Forms with no Formwell branding, a higher monthly response limit per form, a higher number of published forms per account, and export of a form’s responses as a CSV file.

Do my links change when I pay?

No. A form keeps the address it already has; what changes is how much the form holds and whether the Formwell line sits under its last question.

Can I change the limit a single form keeps?

Yes, up to the highest limit your plan allows. Lowering it below the responses already received pauses the form until the next month begins.

Data and privacy questions

Who can read a response?

Only the account that owns the form. The results view asks for the same sign-in as the rest of the product, and a respondent never sees another respondent’s answers.

What does the assistant keep?

Nothing from one ask to the next. It answers only when you press the button, on the page you pressed it, and it reads no files or images.

How do I sign in?

With your email address and a six-digit code. There is no password to remember, and the same sign-in covers the editor, your forms and their results.
