About

A form is a document, so we built the tool that way.

Formwell is made by a small team that writes forms for a living and got tired of the way most builders get in the way of the writing.

Why we built this

Every form starts as a sentence someone needs an answer to. Most tools answer that with a dashboard, a template gallery and a pricing page before a single question is written. We wanted the opposite: a blank page that takes questions the way you would write them down, and one link when you are done.

So the editor is a document, the preview is the page a respondent opens, and the results sit where the form was written.

How the free plan works

Building, publishing and collecting stay free. A plan is for the things that cost us money to carry: more responses and more live forms, no Formwell line under your last question, and a CSV of a form’s answers when you need them somewhere else.

See what each plan carries or read how a form goes from a blank page to a link.

Questions about the builder, a form that will not publish, or an idea for what it should do next — send it over and a person reads it.
